BIOGRAPHY
Julie Wheeler is the Assistant Director for Public Safety.
From 2014-2026 she was the Associate Director of Residence Life & Housing Operations, where she led occupancy management efforts, oversaw the housing lottery processes, and managed room selection for students. She worked directly with the Residence Life staff and the Facilities Management Department.
Prior to joining Centre in 2014, Julie served as a licensed EMT-Paramedic and Firefighter. She worked in Emergency Management for EMS and Fire Departments in Central Kentucky as well as the New Zealand Coast Guard and New Zealand Steel in Auckland, NZ. She earned a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Student Personnel Services in Higher Education from Eastern Kentucky University.
