Study Abroad in Northern Ireland

Centre is proud to partner with the Irish American Scholars to offer our students a uniquely prestigious and selective exchange program. Rising Juniors and Seniors must apply in January to be considered for placement at one of four colleges located in Northern Ireland. If selected, students will be assigned to either Queen's University Belfast, Ulster University, Stranmillis University College, or St. Mary’s University College. Students will enroll directly in the partner college and may study a variety of subjects including, politics and history, education, health, business, marketing, computer science, and the arts.

Queens University

Located in the heart of the bustling Northern Irish capital, Queen's is a top 20 research-intensive institution with a range of available subjects for study. Students who study here get up close and personal with the turmoil and triumph of Northern Ireland’s political history.

University of Ulster

Ulster University

Located in Londonderry, a Western town with a rich and at times controversial history, especially in relation to The Troubles, Ulster University has a national and international reputation for excellence.

Stranmillis University in Belfast

Another Belfast college, Stranmillis University College is highly recognized for its teacher training curriculum and also offers courses in early childhood health and leisure studies.

Saint Mary's in Belfast
